Since 1940, McHugh has been a trusted name in the insurance industry. James J. McHugh Sr. began his career with a large insurance company in New Jersey. Following service in World War II, he returned to his profession and continued assisting clients with their insurance needs. In 1971, James J. McHugh III (Jim) followed in his father’s footsteps and started his career in the insurance market. In 1986, he made the transition to West Palm Beach, Florida and opened James J. McHugh Insurance & Financial Services Inc. Building on his 50 years of insurance experience, Jim McHugh has been appointed a lifetime member of MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) which recognizes the top 1% of life insurance agents in the world. In addition, James J. McHugh Insurance & Financial Services is well known in the insurance industry as a top writer in both property & casualty with a growing list of carriers.
